Once we collect your car, it’s transported to our licensed recycling facility in Rotorua where it’s prepped for dismantling and assessment.
Step 2: Drain Fluids and Remove Hazardous Materials
Fluids like engine oil, brake fluid, coolant, and fuel are drained and safely stored. Airbags, batteries, and mercury switches are removed to avoid environmental hazards.
Step 3: Salvage Reusable Parts
Next, our technicians remove working components such as:

Step 4: Metal Recycling
Once the vehicle is stripped, the remaining shell is crushed and shredded. The metals are separated (steel, aluminium, copper) and sent for smelting to be reused in construction and manufacturing.
Step 5: Tyre and Glass Recycling
Tyres are repurposed into playground materials or road base. Windscreens and glass are processed into recycled glass products, reducing landfill pressure.
